Are you a dancer, mover, maker, coder, musician, software developer, hacker, or plain interested in those fields and the combination of them? Then you are invited to DANCE HACK 2017!

We are looking for curious and open minded collaborators to investigate how dance and performance can affect or be affected by coded programmes. We are looking for new or existing ideas that will contribute towards a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic exploration over two days (more information below). You can use this moment to research and realise a recurring coding problem, rethink a programme design, or initiate a conversation between movement and technology.

On December 2, we are hosting a HACKATHON! There will be space for four groups to form in order to collaborate and to co-create a short piece (max 15min), which will be then showcased on December 3. Before each performance there is a short introduction about the work process and concept, and there will be space for some Q&A after.

We will form the groups from your applications. Groups will be consisting of at least 1 dancer/ choreographer, 1 musician (preferably something with code or interactive), 1 coder/ AV person. Larger groups are possible.
